Hot Wheels Basic Car Porsche 935 (HNK54)

The Porsche 935 racing car dominated the world touring car racing scene from the late 1970s to the early 1980s and was developed based on the 930 series, the second generation of the 911.

It was equipped with wide wings, a front air dam, a huge rear spoiler, and the 911's characteristic frog-eye headlights, which were embedded in the front bumper, as well as a unique, extended rear section to improve stability at ultra-high speeds, with a focus on the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Various variations exist, such as the 935/78, known as the "Moby Dick" (white whale) due to its unique form.

Hot Wheels' motif is the second generation 935, which was unveiled in 2018 as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the 935/78.

It is based on the GT2 RS, the most powerful version of the 7th generation 911 (991 type), with the exterior restyled in the 935/78 style while keeping the mechanism intact.
