Ever since Akira Toriyama wrote and illustrated the first Dragon Ball manga in 1984 the stories involving Goku, Master, Roshi, Chi-Chi, Piccolo, Vegeta, and others have been hugely popular. Originating in Japan, Dragon Ball Z is now a worldwide phenomenon, especially popular in the United States, and has spawned numerous spinoffs, various anime adaptations (Super, GT, etc.), films, video games, and more. Thus, it's no big surprise that the captivating characters that populate the Dragon Ball Z world and the riveting storylines have spawned a mountain of collectible merchandise that bring the characters, the biggest moments, and the most epic battles to life.
