From Takara Tomy’s MPG series, Broadcast, the Cybertron communications center, joins the lineup together with his Cassettebot partner Steeljaw.

Broadcast transforms from a radio cassette recorder into a robot, while Steeljaw transforms from a cassette tape into a lion-type robot. Both figures faithfully recreate their iconic transformations with detailed engineering and screen-accurate design.

This release also includes Broadcast’s Alternate Transformation Mode, as seen in Episode 33 of the anime “Survival Operation”, featuring articulated legs that allow for dynamic walking poses.

A chest-activated mechanism allows Broadcast’s torso to open, enabling storage of Steeljaw in cassette form inside the body. The compartment can also store up to two cassette tapes, including compatibility with MPG-24 Eject & Ramhorn (sold separately).

Accessories include Broadcast’s Electro Scrangler Gun and Steeljaw’s Solar Power Pellet Gun, both designed for use in multiple configurations. A monitor panel can be attached inside Broadcast’s chest, while a megaphone accessory—used in Episode 51 “Broadcast vs Soundwave”—can be mounted on both arms.

The set also includes soundwave-themed effect parts, which can be attached to Broadcast in device mode or to the megaphone tip for enhanced display options. Additionally, a smiling alternate head based on Transformers: The Movie design is included for head-swapping customization.

Steeljaw in cassette form can also be stored in the included barrier case for protection and display.
