From the Transformers OVERGEAR series, built around the concept of “real mecha,” comes Grinder, a special collaboration model with industrial and near-future design team Chuocho Tactical Craft.

Grinder transforms from a CTC technology demonstrator attack helicopter operated by the Technology Demonstration Test Bureau into a ruthless Decepticon warrior. Typography and graphics created specifically for the project by Chuocho Tactical Craft are applied throughout the machine, emphasizing the functional appearance of an experimental unit and its futuristic military aesthetic. The helicopter incorporates advanced technologies developed for nighttime assault operations, including stealth capabilities and night-vision equipment, reflecting a history of deployment on numerous classified missions.

Both vehicle and robot modes feature numerous 3 mm and 5 mm connection points, allowing the included equipment to be freely rearranged to build different tactical loadouts. The arsenal includes an assault rifle, machine gun, missiles, rockets, and a fire-control radar. Additional world-building accessories include a classified-document-style story sheet, blueprint-inspired specification sheet, stickers, and a paper folder for storing the documents.
